IJ Canon imageCLASS LBP6230dw Setup– There are still some gigantic models available, but in 2015 it is possible to have the magic of laser technology and still protect most of your desk or space. LBP6230DW is a state at the point. The page may look quite cumbersome, but it is pleasantly discreet with a 379×293 mm footprint, which is modest enough to hide on most desktops. The grey/cream combo is a standard-manufactured office fee and ensures good mixing with the rest of the equipment. So Canon is a laser that you can set and forget. See all printer reviews.

Not everything is perfect. Open the paper tray and have a distinctly unfinished appearance, as the printer escaped from Canon’s factory before applying the final touches. Apparently, this first impression is quite misleading and has a hidden tray lid that emerged to create a full holder of the 250-page. We miss extra security from meaty moulded trays found on larger and more expensive models, but still a very smart space-saving design. And it’s a single-page manual feed placed on top and gives you the option to stream a very different type of media without having to go around the main tray. The output tray can fit and the 100-sheet capacity may be a slight limit. But if you want a laser that small, you’ll probably have to endure this little problem.
A field that Canon does not stand out for is user friendly. For starters, there is a very flexible installation process involving the removal of various safety plastics. Of course you’re used to removing them, but Canon is happy to hide them as far away as possible. and schematic instructions are not as useful as they might be. There is a better guide in online HTML, but we miss the full days of printed documents.
It’s not easy to grasp the control panel itself. The printer has three lights and four buttons (five if you count the rear-mounted reset switch). But their actual use is not so clear. And the ‘ on ‘ button is coated in front of the top of the Canon, rather than the more natural-looking position. Most often, you won’t have to deal with most of these keys; They often allow you to cancel jobs, start again after paper problems, or set up Wi-Fi. As with most laser and business models, LBP6230DW lacks heat.
The connection can still be a problem for small and medium-sized offices. Ethernet continues to be the most viable solution for the typical office. However, Wi-Fi offers more flexibility, even at the expense of speed and reliability. Regardless of the installation of your company, Canon adapts perfectly to both the Ethernet and the wireless 802.11 b/g/N. No Bluetooth support, but this is a very good product in today’s business world. Although you can connect to Canon via mobile devices, there is no support for memory cards.
And so the performance. Since the 64 MB of RAM is built, Canon needs to perform pretty big tasks. Quote for 25 pages per minute. We couldn’t squeeze more than 22.2 ppm, but it’s close enough for a smart performance for the money. In contrast, Samsung Xpress M2070W could only manage 17.1 ppm. Canon could even produce A4 graphic images faster at 17.7 ppm. It was also quite powerful when it comes to automatic duplexing – it was opened by default to save paper – and Canon’s 22.2 ppm rate still dropped to a very respectable 14.9 ppm. This remains fast enough for automatic duplexing to be seen as a standard option instead of a feature that is stored for occasional use.
The quality of the text is very good for the price. The characters are defined as immaculate and are quite dark-even if not black. Even in small sizes you can extract detail, graphics (mono A4 prints are 17 percent. 17. Offers uninterrupted grayscale depth and is error-free.
Given such excellent performance for the price, you can expect toner costs to suffer in the queue. However, the 42 726 cartridge offers 2100 pages in total and 2p offers cost per page. This makes it easy to perform better with Samsung Xpress (3.8 p) or Brother MFC-J870DW (2.6 p) likes. If you want value, Canon also stands out here
